This qualification will provide learners with the knowledge, confidence and skills to support individuals who are thinking of making a health behaviour change.
The course covers:
How to communicate effectively and build, rapport with an individual and what can impact on behaviour change and how to explore these factors.
Understand how an individual can be supported in thinking and planning for a health behaviour change.
Upon completion, you will gain an RSPH Level 2 Accredited Award in Supporting Behaviour Change.
The course is free for staff working in the Dorset ICS/NHS and LiveWell Dorset. If you are eligible please contact kwalder@activedorset.org for the discount code to book free of charge.
The Broadwey Suite at Redlands is on the second floor and can only be accessed by 2 short flights of stairs. Unfortunately there is no lift at Redlands. Please ensure you are able to climb stairs if attending courses here. The confirmation email contains a short video of how to access the Broadwey Suite.
